It’s official – summer is finally here. But who’d have thought this year
it would have a Brazilian flavour? You needed to be on the patio of
the St-Sulpice (1680 St-Denis) at the first Brahma event of the
summer to believe it! The cerveja was flowing freely on this fab
terrace that was brimming to capacity in the late afternoon sunshine.
To add to the pleasure was the charming team of "Brahma girls",
who certainly didn’t go unnoticed…especially as they were handing
out a scratch card with every Brahma beer ordered! The result?
Hundreds of customers are now in with a chance to win a Vespa. And
about forty of them went away with a cute pair Havaianas sandals –
trendy and super-comfy! Top marks to the Brahma team for getting
the evening off to such a colourful start. And there’s more to look
forward to: these patio parties will be held throughout the season, so we can soak up the
flavour of Brazil all summer long!
We were looking forward to the Brahma patio party at the Houston
restaurant in Laval – a spot that’s renowned for its lively happy
hours! And it looked like it was going to be the perfect summer
evening, when, just twenty minutes or so before the Brahma team
arrived, Mother Nature decided to join in the fun and give the terrace
a good soaking... Fortunately, the shower was short lived, and half
an hour later the sun was out again – much to the delight of the
crowd gathered inside the bar, who spilled enthusiastically back out
onto the patio! With the rain quickly forgotten, we happily clinked
glasses and enjoyed our Brazilian brew, while the Brahma girls kept
the party buzzing by handing out scratch cards for a chance to win
Havaiana sandals or a Vespa scooter. As if the beautiful smiles and
the ice-cold cerveja weren’t enough, a great live band added extra punch to the festive
atmosphere. When it was finally time to leave, we had just one thing to say: “Viva summer!”
What could be better than to sip a cool, thirst-quenching beer
overlooking the beautiful Lake Saint Louis? That’s exactly what
we did at the Brahma patio party at Annie’s Sur-Le-Lac in
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. This picture-postcard waterside
setting was filled with a festive atmosphere and there was a
laid-back, “boating holiday” feel in the air. It was as if all 200
people who’d come to enjoy a drink had just stepped ashore
from a day’s sailing. The weather had been glorious all day,
with clear blue skies and perfect temperatures still at around 9
p.m. when the Brahma team arrived. The crew soon had the
attention of the crowd of young thirty-somethings, several of
whom went away with a pair of Brazilian thong sandals (any bets they'll be sporting them
proudly on their next boat trip?). And when the Brahma crew finally set sail at around 1 a.m.,
they left the party in full swing to continue its pleasure cruise into the early hours!
It was fiesta time downtown the evening the Brahma crew
disembarked at the Sainte-Élisabeth Pub. The Jazz Fest was in full
swing in the neighbouring streets and the sun had been shining all
weekend, so we were in the mood to celebrate even before we set
foot on the beautiful terrace! And apparently we weren’t the only
ones – the place was packed, and you couldn't have wished for a
nicer crowd. Hard to believe it was a Sunday night… The patio even
became a dance floor for one number! All that fun soon had us hot
and thirsty, and the Brahma counters filled with beer on ice were just
what we needed. Chatting to the lovely Brahma girls serving the
refreshing Brazilian brew only added to the pleasure. Alas, the
Brahma team had to leave around midnight – but the party
atmosphere they’d created kept going strong!
We knew that this Brahma party, held in the heart of
downtown, would get the weekend off to a flying start.
When we arrived, several fiesta-goers had already partied
their way onto the Segafredo patio and were making the most
of the late afternoon sunshine, enjoying a refreshing Brahma
beer with its subtle hint of papaya. Inside, the crowd
sipped cerveja to the beat of the samba, and throughout the
evening, the cool Brazilian brew and the vibrant world
rhythms formed the perfect pair. The charming smiles of the
Brahma team girls with their mini-quiz games added to the
warm, friendly atmosphere, and we left feeling happy and
sporting a laid-back summer look. Bring on the next party!
The atmosphere was already buzzing at the Brasserie
Ste-Thérèse by the time the Brahma team arrived. This spot
is well known for its happy hours, which always draw the
crowds for a drink and a bite to eat in good company.
As the evening went on, the place filled up steadily,
and by the time the Brahma party got off the ground at
around 10:30 p.m., we could hardly make our way across
the packed patio! At the height of the festivities,
the Brasserie, tastefully decked out in the Brahma colours,
was brimming with over 1,000 people. The luckier ones
were introduced to the Brazilian beer by Marie-Lyse,
Marie-Christine and Émilie, the superb Brahma team girls.
With all the ingredients for a successful evening, this Brahma
party was definitely the place to be!
The last Brahma party we went to proved that perseverance
pays off! When we arrived at the Commission des Liqueurs,
Mother Nature was up to her tricks; with the grey skies
and intermittent showers it looked like we were in for a
quiet evening. Then, just as we were least expecting it, a
crowd of party-goers decided to take the dance floor by
storm, and soon even the Brahma promotion team was
boogying down to the latest summer sounds. As the evening
went on, this new Repentigny hot spot filled up with
fun-seekers, delighted to find themselves served a cool
Brazilian beer by a team of charming young ladies. By the
end, the atmosphere was well and truly rocking! Who would
have thought it, just a few hours earlier? We have to admit, these Brahma parties are well
worth the trip – good time guaranteed!
Brahma Flow Parties bring the excitement, energy and essence of Brazilian culture to a patio near you. And you get to be part of all the action. You can sample Brahma, the ultimate, refreshing summer beer and groove to Samba and Brazilian beats.
